As a student section of the American Nuclear Society, our members are expected to have a current ANS membership. Student membership is steeply discounted ($35 annually, not automatically renewed), and we are working to discount it further through the university. Due-paying membership directly correlates with the funding we receive to keep hosting exciting activities.
Membership in the national society has its perks. To list a few:
- Access to ANS scholarships and grants
- Networking with professionals and students in the nuclear field
- Career resources, including job boards and resume help

Do I have to join on the BYU Clubs website?
As a BYU Academic Association, all active members must also join through the clubs website. The process is straightforward, and just takes a moment. Reach out if you have any issues.
We use the BYU Clubs system to send out email newsletters and formal communications, so it is important for all members to be registered.
Why should I join?
If you are interested in participating in events, site tours, conferences, etc., you must be a member of both the club and the national society. No exceptions can be made.
